I have had a growing passion for the healing power of food since I was in my twenties. After many years of eating the same boring foods I started to crave a more varied diet full of nutritious food. I started to appreciate the benefits of eating healthy foods can have on your body and mind. I have experienced first hand their affects and wanted to pass this knowledge onto others.
Weight loss doesn’t necessarily mean eating less. More often than not it’s about eating the right foods for you. Doing so can allow you to eat many different foods without having to remove any food groups or the need for calorie counting.
The key to sustained weight loss is to develop a long term eating plan that is bespoke to your individual needs. This then becomes less of a weight loss plan but simply a healthy way of living. My aim is to identify and address any barriers that maybe preventing you from achieving your goals. These barriers can be much more complex than just simply over eating. There is a combination of factors at play which vary from person to person. Common factors include nutrient deficiencies, blood sugar imbalances, low mood or a slow metabolism.
As we know one diet doesn’t fit all so with a holistic approach I will provide a nutritional plan that is individual to your needs. I will give you the tools required to make healthier choices allowing you to enjoy food without the worry. Losing weight doesn’t have to be a life sentence or mean giving up the foods you enjoy. You will be in control of your future health whilst opening up a whole new world of nutritious and delicious foods for you to enjoy.
